Winter has always been on of my favorite time of the year. Alot of people from my area get excited for winter because they hunt. I live in Northwestern Pennsylvania. If you know anything about this area, you know hunting and fishing is big around here! But I don't like to hunt. Never been for me. Instead of getting excited for that I get excite for what I call "fake" hunting.
What I do in the winter is skeet shooting. I love being out in the snow and shooting the clay pigeons. I go to the Izaak Walton Gun Club every winter and shoot. I try to go every Sunday. I usually go with my brother and a couple friends. Its great to be out in the wilderness and just be with the guys and hang out.
We go shooting in the woods which usually consists of between 100 and 150 clay birds. You walk through the trails and shoot from each station. It kinda gives you the feel of hunting without actually killing anything. I would recommend skeet shooting to any family. It is a great way to spend good, fun quality time.
