The 2009 Fun Show Series at the Running Horse Ranch is a great way to have some great family fun at a low expense. They have classes for age groups from pee wee to adult. With the entry fees at a low price you are sure to get your whole family involved.

Bowling At Seneca Lanes

Is the winter weather keeping you trapped in the house? Are your kids always saying, "I'm bored! There's never anything to do!". That's how it sounds at my house sometimes too! I just moved to the area so I'm not to familiar on whats to do around here.

Fun Shoot at Sandy Creek Conservancy

As I have stated in previous blogs, I love to go skeet shooting. On Valentines Day this year the Sandy Creek Conservancy will hold its Fun Shoot. The Allegheny Northwoods Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will be hosting the sporting clays event on Saturday February 14th.

Steelers SuperBowl

The Steelers are based from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1933 they are part of the AFC(American Football Conference). The Steelers are not only the oldest team in the AFC but they are the most championed. On February 1st, 2009 the Steelers will play in their 7th SuperBowl. The Steelers are one of three teams to win the SuperBowl five times.

Winter Safety - Kids At Play

The snow is quickly covering the ground and getting deeper and deeper everyday. Everyone knows that with snow brings a lot of kids coming outside to go sled riding and building snowmen.

I just want to remind everyone to be careful and keep an eye out for kids when they are driving. You never know where kids are going to be sled riding and some of the time they sled ride and end up going in the street. Whether they mean to do it or not, its our responsibility as drivers to pay attention to whats going on around us.

If you have kids that go sled riding try and talk to them and remind of the hazards of not being careful. Let them know that the street is of limits as it could cause accidents and harm to themselves.

Skeet Shooting

Winter has always been on of my favorite time of the year. Alot of people from my area get excited for winter because they hunt.  I live in Northwestern Pennsylvania. If you know anything about this area, you know hunting and fishing is big around here! But I don't like to hunt. Never been for me. Instead of getting excited for that I get excite for what I call "fake" hunting.

Bored... Try BINGO!

Are you sick of not having anything to do in the winter months. I know I am. I have recently started going to Bingo! I know most people when they think of Bingo they think of the elderly. But I am 24 years old, I thought the same thing until I went. There is people from all ages.

Oil City Boys Basketball Changes

Due to the rescheduling of Junior High basketball games, Oil City 5th and 6th grade basketball is canceled Saturday, January 3rd. Fifth and Sixth grade boys will meet Tuesday, January 8th at 7:30pm at the Oil City Middle School gym.
